Roof Insurance Claims in Lincoln, AL
After hail or wind, the hardest part is often the claim. We inspect, document, and walk the roof with your adjuster if you want us there. We'll be straight with you about whether it's worth filing.
How a roof claim works
- 01
Stay safe, stop the water
If water is coming in, put a bucket under it and move what you can. If a tarp is needed, call us. Don't climb on a wet roof.
- 02
Call us for an inspection
We get on the roof, photograph every damaged area, and tell you plainly whether it's a repair, a replacement, or not storm damage at all.
- 03
Decide whether to file
If the damage is small or under your deductible, filing may not make sense. We'll tell you what we see so you can make that call.
- 04
File the claim
You file with your insurance company. Your policy is between you and your insurer; we don't sign anything on your behalf.
- 05
Meet the adjuster
If you want us there, we'll meet the adjuster on the roof and point out what we documented.
- 06
Scope and build
Once the claim is approved, we go over the scope with you, schedule the work, and build it.

Documentation you can use
- Photos of every damaged slope, vent, and gutter

Back to a roof you trust

Text us a photo of the problem
Leak, soft deck board, leaning fence post, peeling siding — snap a picture and text it to (256) 473-4809. We'll tell you what we see and whether it needs a visit.
Insurance claim FAQ
Do you handle every insurance claim?
No. If you are filing a claim, we talk to the insurance company with you and document the roof. We do not handle every claim, and we will not tell you that we do.
Will you waive my deductible?
No. Alabama law and your policy require you to pay your deductible. A contractor who offers to waive it is a red flag.
What does hail damage look like?
Bruised or cracked shingles, granules in the gutters, dented vents and gutters, and dings on metal. Some of it is only visible up close, which is why we get on the roof.
How long do I have to file?
It depends on your policy. Many require prompt notice after the storm. Check your policy and don't wait months.
Can you tarp my roof right away?
Call (256) 473-4809. If we can get there, we'll tarp it to stop more damage while the claim is worked.
