Fence Installation FAQ
Do I need a permit for a fence?
It depends on where you are. City limits and HOAs have their own rules on height and setbacks. We'll tell you what we know, but check with your city or HOA before we start.
How long does a wood fence last?
Pressure-treated pine typically lasts 10 to 15 years in Alabama. Staining or sealing helps it last longer.
Should I stain a new wood fence?
Yes, but wait until it dries out, usually a few months after install.
Can you fix just part of my fence?
Yes. We replace posts, sections, and gates when the rest of the fence is still sound.
