Deck Building

What we do

Licensed and insured. Locally owned in Lincoln. One crew for the job, start to finish.

01

New decks

Ground-level, raised, and multi-level decks sized for how you'll actually use the space.

02

Deck replacement

Rotten boards, loose railings, or a soft frame. We'll tell you if the frame is worth keeping or not.

03

Pressure-treated or composite

Treated pine costs less up front. Composite costs more and skips the yearly staining. We'll price both.

04

Stairs and railings

Railings at the right height and spacing, stairs with consistent risers, and hand rails you can grab.

05

Covered decks and porches

Add a roof over the deck. We're roofers too, so it ties into the house without leaking.

06

Deck repair

Boards, joists, posts, railings, and stairs fixed when the rest of the deck is still solid.

Questions

Deck Building FAQ

Composite or pressure-treated wood?

Treated pine costs less to build. Composite costs more but doesn't need staining and won't splinter. Over 10+ years, composite usually closes the gap.

Do I need a permit for a deck?

Often, yes, especially for raised decks attached to the house. Rules vary by city and county. We'll tell you what to check.

How long does it take to build a deck?

Most decks take three to seven working days once materials are on site.

Can you put a roof over my deck?

Yes. We build covered decks and porches and tie the roof into the house.
