Privacy Policy — PALTO Books

PALTO Books is an internal bookkeeping application operated by PALTO Solutions LLC and PALTO Construction LLC ("PALTO," "we," "us") of Lincoln, Alabama. It connects to our own QuickBooks Online company files through Intuit's API to help manage our own accounting records.

What this app is. PALTO Books is a private, internal tool. It is not offered to the public, is not sold, and has no outside users or customers.

Information we access. Through the QuickBooks Online API the app reads and writes accounting data in QuickBooks company files owned by PALTO: chart of accounts, vendors, customers, classes, bills, expenses, bank transactions, and attachments. All of this data belongs to PALTO.

Information we collect from the public. None. The app has no public sign-up, no public login, and collects no information from visitors to this website.

How data is used. Solely for PALTO's internal bookkeeping: categorizing expenses, entering vendor bills, attaching receipts, and producing internal financial reports.

Sharing. We do not sell, rent, or share data with third parties, except with Intuit through its API as required for the app to function, and with our own accountants and advisors.

Storage and security. Access credentials are stored encrypted on PALTO equipment, restricted to authorized PALTO personnel. We do not store QuickBooks passwords.

Data deletion. Disconnecting the app from a QuickBooks company removes its access. To request anything further, contact us below.

Changes. We may update this policy; the current version will always be at this URL.
